Born in Florida, raised in Indiana. Attended DePauw University (BA 1979), Indiana University (Bloomington) (MBA 1981) and Indiana University (Bloomington) (JD 1985). Started my career at Baker & Daniels in Indianapolis (now Faegre Drinker in 1985). Moved to Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP in 2023. My career begin in commercial law and banking and progressed into M&A, which is my exclusive practice today. Along the way I started a number of businesses, including Indiana Business Bank (chartered 2003, sold 2017) and Mesh Systems LLC (2005, current). As a sideline I mentor young entrepreneurs.
