Rip Reeves is CEO of Institutional Investor, with oversight of its global events platform, journalism, thought leadership and fintech businesses. In 2022, he retired as Chief Investment Officer and Treasurer of AEGIS Insurance Services after 11 years of service. In the preceding 26+ years, Rip’s professional experience encompassed portfolio management, global asset allocation, treasury, investment banking, sales/trading, and large team management.

Rip is a professor in the finance department at Louisiana State University, and also serves as the Investment Committee Chair for The LSU Foundation overseeing the University's Endowment. He has been a Board of Directors member for Preferred Mutual Insurance Company for more than 10 years, and has also served on the Board of Advisors for Northern Trust Asset Management. Rip holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and an MBA, both from Louisiana State University.
