Scott Gaudin is President and CEO of Currency Bank, a Louisiana based community bank headquartered in Baton Rouge.
After helping acquire and transform the institution during the COVID era, Scott became CEO and has led the bank through a period of strategic growth, expansion, and value creation. Today, he oversees the bank’s long term strategy, lending operations, acquisitions, and shareholder initiatives.
Under Scott’s leadership, Currency Bank has been recognized among the nation’s top performing community banks by S&P Global Market Intelligence and has earned recognition through the Inc. 5000 and LSU 100 programs.
Scott was also named Young Businessperson of the Year by the Baton Rouge Business Report and received the Young Banker Impact Award from the Louisiana Bankers Association in recognition of his leadership and contributions to the banking industry.
A passionate advocate for entrepreneurship and community banking, Scott frequently speaks on leadership, growth strategy, acquisitions, and the role locally owned financial institutions play in supporting businesses and strengthening communities.
Beyond the bank, Scott serves as Chairman of the Louisiana Art & Science Museum, Chairman of Thrive Academy, and Chairman of the Finance Committee at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic School.
Scott lives in Baton Rouge with his wife, Kay, and their son, Wills.
